RICHARD AROS - Far East Region, Nairobi " Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years." Revelation 20:6 ![]()
It was with great sadness that we bid farewell to our brother Richard Aros. Baptized in 1991, Richard lost spiritual direction for a while, but, heroically, returned to the Lord, and was restored in 2000. Richard was a very active member of Nairobi's Kibera region, but due to his evangelistic zeal that did not limit itself to regional delineation, also helped Patrick Bundi become a disciple on campus in 1992. He later moved to the Far East region. Richard is survived by his wife, Esther, and their three children, for whom he was a wonderful leader. "In life there are ups and downs, but Richard stood firm," says Peter Onduru, who has been a close friend to Richard and whom Richard helped to become a Christian in 1991. "In taking care of his family, Richard made sure that his wife was happy and that his children were well taken care of." On the 8 th of June 2003, Richard preceded us home as he was called by the Lord. We look forward to resuming our fellowship with him when we all get to heaven. Go to the "Loving Memory" Page |
