A TIME OF A THOUSAND SMILES
Wedding Bliss For Leaders of Kigali Church

Samson and Judy MokayaSamson Mokaya and Judy Awino have been leading the church in Kigali, Rwanda since 2005, and not only have they fallen in love with the country, culture and congregation, but they found love in each other, and, in a beautiful ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya on 12 August 2007, were joined in holy matrimony.

As strong as they were individually as singles, the stage is set for them to take it even higher as a couple. “Judy is strong and her strength has seen her through many challenges,” shared Carol Mukenya at the wedding. “She has raised (her son) Mitchell wonderfully, and she and Samson have stood out for their purity in their dating and courtship.”

About Samson, Jarrett Odwallo said, “Samson is resilient. That has gotten him through a lot. At times when life was difficult Samson would pull through.”

As a testimony to the impact that Samson and Judy have had on many, disciples from Kamapla, Uganda came all the way from the Ugandan capital to be at the occasion.

Samson was baptized on the 7th of January 1996 and entered the full-time ministry on October 1, 1999. Judy, a single mom at the time, was baptized on 14th November 1995 and entered the full-time ministry in February three years later.

Rwanda is known as the Land of A Thousand Hills. On their wedding day, and ever since, Samson and Judy have been experiencing a time of a thousand smiles. We wish them and their son the very best as they continue to lead the work in Rwanda and be a great example to many.
