AMAZED BY HIS GRACE
1. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO GOD'S GRACE
Nehemiah 9:29-31
The Israelites, here, are arrogant, disobedient, stubborn, stiff-necked and refused to listen to the word of God. God was always patient with them. In his mercy, God gave them an opportunity to repent. God is also patient with us today. His arms are open wide and ready to receive us back. There is no limit to God's grace.
Q. How are you living your life today?
Q. Are you arrogant and disobedient to God's word today?
Q. Are you stubborn, stiff-necked and refusing to listen to God's word?
Never make the mistake of not repenting. Let us learn to forgive just as the Lord is forgiving. There is nothing you will ever do that will make the Lord love you less.
2. GRACE EMPOWERS US FOR SERVICE
1 Corinthians 15:10
God's grace empowered Paul to work harder than anybody else. The grace of God was the sole motivation in everything that Paul did - evangelism, preaching and serving others.
Q. Why do you do what you do?
Q. Do you reach out to people and/or go to church because someone will follow up on you if you don't?
Q. Do you reach out to people at all?
Grace empowers men for service, including giving generously.
Q. How is your giving - regular and special contribution? What plans do you have with regards to those two?
1 Peter 4:10
Grace is not given for selfish use. It is a gift from God that should teach us forgiveness, gratitude, obedience and faithfulness.
James 1:27
Remember those who are sick, the needy, widows and orphans. Serve them.
Let God's grace motivate you to change and to be your best for God. Amen.
