Exodus 19:1-
God wants us to realize that we are special to him. We are priests to offer the sacrifice of helping people to find God. For us to experience God we must decide to be righteous, i.e. shun evil and also fear God for who he is and what he is capable of doing.

Trusting God
By Carol Mukenya
We need to trust in God and not in ourselves or in the people around us.
Genesis 29 The example of Leah We need to have pure hearts however we are. There are certain things in life that we will not be able to give ourselves and therefore we need to know that God knows us and will meet our needs.
Leah was in touch with God and knew that God was blessing her. She was grateful to God.
Q. Are you confident that God is blessing you, and therefore grateful to God, even when you have not yet seen or experienced that which you hope and pray for?
Genesis 30 The example of Rachael
When we do not base our relationships on God, we end up grumbling because of the challenges that come from trying to sustain an ungodly relationship. God blesses the grateful heart and not the grumbling one.
We also need to have fiends who influence us positively.
Numbers 13:1
Q. Are you negative and critical or positive and grateful?
Numbers 14
Moses had a wonderful relationship with God. Resolve to be righteous, and then help others to also achieve and maintain the same.

Q.Do you hate sin enough to fight it? Do you hate sin enough o confess it?
