EXCELLENCE IN OUR WALK WITH GOD (Purity)
Jarret Odwallo

(The class was taught exclusively to brothers)

Genesis 39:6b-20
Potiphar’s wife was relentless in her quest to have Joseph go to bed with her. That is the nature of sin, it is relentless, and it yearns to have us. We all know our weaknesses and Satan will use the same to tempt us.

Q: Are there ladies in the world that you are inappropriately associating with?
Q: Are there sisters in the kingdom that you are inappropriately associating with?
Watch the pattern of things and resist evil.
Confess any form of impurity, it will save you, it will help you to overcome.
Q: What does it benefit you to look good in the eyes of your brother and yet fail to make it to heaven?

Sin that is not confessed looks nice and normal but it kills. It is until we become radical that we see the ugliness of sin.

Q: How radical are you about impurities?
Q: Do you know your weaknesses?

Joseph would not allow himself to fall because this would be a sin against the LORD his GOD. Is this the way you view impurities today?

Jeremiah 2:20-25
In order to overcome impurities, we must acknowledge sin. DENIAL KILLS!
Sin is relentless and progressive; we have to stop it at its onset. We must confess sin at the level of temptation rather than wait for it to mature.
Do not tire of talking about sin.
