EXCELLENT START
Edwine Omaya
Matthew 22:34-38
God expects excellence from me in my love for him and for my fellow men.
When God says “all” He means “ALL.”
The goal of the camp is to glorify the name of God.
Are you glorifying God in what you doing and saying (or even thinking)?
Mark 7:36-38
People were amazed at Jesus because He did everything well. Excellence is giving your all, your very best in all that I do.
What standards have you been keeping as a disciple? Average or excellent?
Colossians 3:23-24 “..Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men...”
1. Attitude is everything
Philippians 2:5-11
In order to grow you must have a great attitude. The camp will be as good as your attitude.
2. The goal is maturity
Ephesians 4:13-16
The goal of Christianity is that disciples should be presented to be like Christ in all maturity!
Hebrews 5:11-14
Grow to maturity to use solid food. Do so by constantly using the word of God.
