When you tie your heart on God’s word you will be more secure. Godliness has to come from you through God and its hard work.

You need to train yourself using scriptures.
You need to read the bible everyday if you desire to be godly. The scriptures will change you.

It is not about following the rules; it’s about obeying God unconditionally and striving to please him.

You must read the bible, there is no substitute

Q: How often do you face temptations, problems and pressures of life?
Q: How often do you need instructions, guidance and encouragement?
Q: How often do you eat?
You need to read the Bible EVERYDAY!
Meditation
Meditation is important in Bible study; it goes beyond reading, and even memorizing God’s word. It helps one to personalize and internalize the scriptures.

Meditation helps you to concentrate; it also helps you to absorb God’s word effectively.
