THE LION NEVER SLEEPS

Our enemy is God's enemy - the Devil. He prowls around looking for an opportunity to pull us out and bring us down.

1. HE WANTS TO DEVOUR YOU.

Revelation 12: 11 -12
The devil was hurled down to earth and he is furious and enraged. He is working on a short deadline. He attacks when he is sure that you are unarmed.

2 Corinthians 11: 14
Satan masquerades as an angel of light - no wonder. He tempts us through people and events that appear good and helpful, so be careful who and what you listen to and follow.

Q. Can you stand up to this? Do you know how or where he schemes I your life, i.e. your particular weaknesses that he may exploit?

John 8: 44
The occupation of Satan is to destroy. Scripture, though, will keep you focused on God and alert to Satan's plots.

Q. Is your heart soft to the scriptures?

Q. Are you willing to repent and overcome your struggles?
Q. What is the condition of our heart?

2. HE WANTS TO ACCUSE YOU ON A DAILY BASIS.

Job 1: 6 - 2: 1
Satan's real name is The Accuser. He goes to and fro in search of opportunity.

Q. Could God say this about you, "Have you considered my servant so-and-so?"

2 Chronicles 18: 18
Satan never causes us to sin! So what causes us to sin?
