RESIST HIM

To resist means to withstand, to refrain from despite temptation.
Revelation 12:9-12
Satan is always angry at us, accusing us, and leads the whole world astray.
Ephesians 6:10,12
Satan has the tactics. We are in a battle against him. He is a great force. But of course not as powerful as God Almighty.
What should you do?
1. KNOW WHO YOU ARE
Psalm 51:3-5
We are sinful creatures by nature and need to accept that and not be self righteous. Everyday we must deal with this reality.
Romans 7:5,6
We must die to our sinful nature and be controlled by it no longer.
Romans 8:5-7
Now we are controlled by the Spirit of God.
Galatians 2:18,19
We do not live for ourselves but for God.
Ephesians 2:10
We are God's workmanship. We work together with God.
1 Peter 2:9,10
We are God's holy people - his sons and daughters.
2. YOUR INTEGRITY WILL PROTECT YOU

Our lives are all about choices. What attracts you most? What appeals to your siful nature - laziness, gossip, impurity?

Let us rescue each other. Sin captures us and we need each other to help set us free.

God is looking for you to have a contrite heart and be broken about the sin in your life.
What shows do you watch on TV? What music do you listen to? What websites and internet chat rooms do you log on to? Do you act in a manner to seduce men? Are you consumed with wanting to have a boyfriend?

Q. When did you last confess sin to your discipler? When did you last cry over your sins?
