RECAPTURE YOUR FAITH

Have you ever asked yourself why Jesus always said to his disciples, "Oh ye of little faith," especially when they failed to do the things they could do? Jesus knew that they could do it. He knew that with faith they could move mountains, calm storms and drive out demons, but that faith was missing.

Luke 9:41

Jesus was concerned about their failure to recapture their faith and called them unbelieving and perverse. This is what you become if you do not recapture your faith.

Luke 8:25

Lack of faith brought fear into the disciples' lives.

Q. Where is your faith today?

In many instances, the disciples failed to accomplish much because of their lack of faith. They saw much being done, but instead of growing in their faith they were filled with fear.

Q. Is your faith growing from what you see God doing around you in the church?

Fear kills our desire to recapture our faith and also comes as a result of our failure to recapture our faith.

When the disciples recaptured their faith:

1. They moved mountains and calmed storms

Acts 2:14 Peter stood up, with faith, and addressed the crowd. He calmed the crowd and the people listened.

Acts 2:41

About three thousand people got baptized. A great mountain moved! This is what you can do when you recapture your faith. Those you pray for can change and many will. Recapture your faith.

2. They healed the sick

Acts 3:1-10

Exercising his faith, Peter offered a solution.

Q. What do you offer those who are weak in their faith?
Q. What do you offer those who need help in overcoming particular sins in their lives?
Q. Peter had faith and a vision for the man that he could walk. What vision do you have for the people around you?

There are many people out there who need your faith. Give it to them. Recapture your faith.

Romans 10:17

To recapture your faith you need the word of God. Search for it, hear it, love it, hold on to it, and see your faith grow. Ther is so much that you can do, so don't be unbelieving. Just recapture your faith.
