WINNING THE SPIRITUAL BATTLE



1. THE LION NEVER SLEEPS

1 Peter 5:8
Satan is constantly looking for a disciple to defeat and devour. He wants to use any tactic in the book to get you to fall spiritually.

Job 1:7 Satan is busy. He never sleeps as he roams around looking for people to drag into the darkness. He wants people you love to experience pain. He wants people you are reaching out to to reject discipleship. He wants disciples to fall away. He wants you to fall and fail.

But there is good news - the lion never sleeps ...

2. … AND NEITHER DOES THE LORD

Psalm 121:1-8 God is our help and he never sleeps or slumbers and so is available 24 hours a day to protect you from your never-asleep, always-scheming enemy.

Q. Do you go to God for help? Do you face your challenges by praying? Do you face your decisions by praying for wisdom?

Romans 10:17
Faith comes from the Word. The deeper you are in the bible, the greater your faith will be. We all need bible study that addresses issues we are handling, situations we are faced with and challenges we are encountering.

Q. Have you been studying your bible daily?

Q. As God searches for the committed, will he find your heart fully devoted to having a great walk with him? Have you made your relationship with God a priority?

Revelation 5:5
There is another Lion to face the evil one, and that is the Lion of Judah, Root of David, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, our Lord and Saviour. He holds victory in his hand. So if you only walk with him, you will win the battle and not have to weep in the battle.

Have faith in God. Understand that he is greater than your problems. He is just as alert as Satan, and much stronger than Satan. The battle is the Lord's and victory is yours if you walk with the Lord.
