December 2004 FRIENDS FOREVER Scripture after scripture paints the picture of the kind of relationships that are formed when men and women walk with God and in order to walk with God. We all need each other and we need close Christian friendships in which we feel safe and secure and are willing to give and take advice, correction and direction. Jonathan and David were great friends. Elijah and Elisha were great friends. Paul and Timothy were great friends. Jesus and his apostles were great friends. The Father and the Son were - and still are, and forever will be - great friends, to name just a few incredible friendships that we read about in holy writ. We must be friends forever if we are to get to heaven and help others get there and spend the rest of forever with our very best friend of all, God. Click below for the lesson notes.
