Matthew 13:23
The seed is sown, but how? By people certainly, but in how many different ways.

Even with physical plants, seeds are sometimes carried from one country to another or even from one continent to another by the wind or by getting lodged in the wings of birds. Similarly with spiritual seed there are various ways in which to scatter the seed. There are many ways that God can use us to spread his word.

1. OUR LIFE SOWS SEEDS
2 Peter 1:3-8

We may not all have the opportunity to stand at the pulpit and preach, but we can all add to our faith. Adding the things listed here will make us effective and productive spiritually.

Goodness:
Q. Are you good? Being good does come with an age restriction. We can all be good regardless of age/youth.
Q. Are you nice to people - respectful and polite? Do you have honesty and integrity?
Q. Do you use words like "please" and "thank you"?
God is counting on each of us to sow seeds with our lives.

Matthew 25:31-40
Here, the people's entrance into heaven had nothing to do with how many people they had baptized or how many visitors they had with them at church. It has everything to do with their lives.

After all their goodness, they were even surprised to hear that they had done those things to Jesus. It is clear, then, that they hadn't done good for the sake of being noticed or praised.

Q. Are you more into feeling good yourself or into making others feel good? Visiting the sick needs to be an integral part of our lives.

2. GOD MAKES THEM GROW
Mark 4:26-29

As the seed gets scattered by your life, you don't know what impact it will have.
v. 27 you don't know what God is going to be able to do with you. If we just live the right life, then there is so much that God will be able to do through us.

3. THE HARVEST HAS COME
Make sure that your life sows seeds, understand that God is in control, then remember that people are ready for the truth. Remember that there are people out there who want the real thing.

One thing that made the apostles lives so attractive was that they were different from the religious leaders of the day.

Acts 4:11-13
Jesus was the only one who could take ordinary men and turn them into this - loving leaders and radical revolutionaries.

The time is right for the real thing. The apostles were ready to be the real thing; are you?
