JUBILATION AS JARRETT AND JEBET ARE JOINED - God blessed Saturday 27th November 2004 with wonderful warm and sunny weather at the end of a week that had seen much rain and cold. It was a perfect setting for the outdoor wedding of Jarrett Odwallo and Nancy Jebet, who are the leaders of the Nairobi church's youth ministry.
SINGLE-MINDED DEVOTION- John Maleya Kilaha and Jane Adhiambo have long served God individually with a single-minded devotion, and now, in getting married, have continued to be a source of inspiration to many. When they said, "I do" on May 3rd 2003, they showed that it can be done. Their example shone bright as they showed that it is possible to remain faithful to God and be pure for as many as 12 years of being single in the kingdom.
I DREAMED FOR AFRICA -As the church continues to grow in Bujumbura, the capital of the Central African nation of Burundi, one person, Sonia Kabwa, born in Burundi and baptized in England, fits the label of mother of the sisters there.
FOR THE SAKE OF HER BROTHERS - Daniele Mbesherubusa Returns to Burundi to Make Disciples: Danielle Mbesherubusa was born in Bujumbura, the capital city of the central African nation of Burundi. After initially leaving the country for Ivory Coast as civil war brought death, destruction and despair, Danielle returned home to help plant the church and to bring hope, truth and light to people's lives.
