Andrew Mugerwa is a disciple in the church in Kampala. He was called to the prestigious Makerere University as a private (and not government-sponsored) student. Because he refused to forgo his midweek evening church services, however, his mother refused to pay his fees. Andrew refused to budge.

After praying for his mother to change her mind, Andrew decided to go to the registrar at the university to explain his situation. The registrar's response was to summon Andrew's mother to talk through the situation. Before seeing the registrar, however, she had a change of heart and agreed to support her son's education.

God truly blessed the Kingdom-first convictions of Andrew Mugerwa. He and then congregational leader Paul Ngovu started having Bible Talk at the university, and they soon baptized one of Andrew's friends on campus.
