CONVERSION STORY: THADDEUS (ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA)

While in a refugee camp in Kenya, Thaddeus, an Ethiopian national, became the leader of a church of 3000. Returning to his home country eventually, Thaddeus was kicked out of one of the biggest evangelical churches in the capital city Addis Ababa because of his persistent questions and his confronting non-biblical traditions.

In the meantime, his former girlfriend Marta, who had been a disciple but then fallen away, was restored to the kingdom. Thaddeus was in turn invited to church, studied the bible, and was baptized into Christ.

Zealous about his new life, Thaddeus was fruitful twice in his first few weeks as a Christian, and hired someone to help him with his business so that he would be free to walk with and spend more time with William Siwa, the leader of the Addis Ababa congregation.
